La scorsa notte si è svolta la cerimonia di premiazione dei Saturn Awards 2019, in cui diversi film e serie tv, specialmente per quanto riguarda il mondo sci-fi, fantasy ed horror, hanno ricevuto l’iconica statuetta.

Al comando con le nominations era Game of Thrones con nove ed anche nelle vittorie è rimasta sul podio. Nella categoria di miglior attrice non protagonista però il premio, nonostante tre candidature per GoT, è andato a Danai Gurira e la sua Michonne di The Walking Dead. Proprio The Walking Dead in generale si aggiudica tre statuette, compresa quella di Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Esce vincitore da questa edizione dei Saturn Awards anche lo show di CBS All Access Star Trek: Discovery; anche Stranger Things si aggiudica un paio di premi.
Di nota è anche la vittoria di Supergirl nella categoria di miglior serie di supereroi, fortemente dominata nelle nominations da tutto l’Arrowverse ed in generale dalle serie DC.
Nell elenco, tra le varie nomination, potete notare titoli rilasciati più di un anno fa.
Per i Saturn Awards 2019 infatti il periodo considerato è di 16 mesi; son state nominati film e serie tv rilasciati pubblicamente dal 1 marzo 2018 sino al 7 luglio 2019.
