Marvel Studios ha ufficialmente confermato il cast di Avengers: Doomsday, in vista dell’uscita del film prevista per il 2026. La scorsa estate, il presidente dei Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, aveva annunciato una nuova direzione per Avengers 5, precedentemente intitolato Avengers: Kang Dynasty. Dopo la risposta tiepida al villain Kang – e l’interruzione della collaborazione con l’attore Jonathan Majors – Feige ha rivelato un nuovo antagonista del MCU: il Doctor Doom interpretato da Robert Downey Jr. Il film è stato quindi rinominato Avengers: Doomsday, anche se la formazione completa dei Vendicatori non era ancora stata resa nota.
Oggi, durante una diretta streaming su piattaforme come X (ex Twitter), YouTube e Instagram, Marvel Studios ha rivelato il cast di Avengers: Doomsday e confermato che il film è ufficialmente in produzione. L’uscita è prevista per il 1° maggio 2026, con le riprese che dureranno almeno diversi mesi.
