DC Comics quest’anno riesce a battere la concorrenza portandosi a casa quattro dei più prestigiosi temi riguardanti le serie, a dimostrazione della grande qualità delle storie proposte in questo momento dalla casa di Batman. Stupisce l’assenza di premi a Marvel Comics, mentre Image Comics riesce a vincere in due categorie con sue due pubblicazioni. Non stupisce la vittoria Una Brutta Giornata: Enigmista, così come quella di Do a Powerbomb, due serie differenti capaci di tenerci incollati alla lettura come poche altre. Per quanto riguarda i premi individuali, anche qui non ci sono sorprese, James Tynion IV si conferma miglior scrittore per il secondo anno consecutivo, mentre Sana Takeda come miglior disegnatrice di interni.
